It’s been a baking day! Burger and dog buns-sweet Hawaiian rolls- English muffins and these!!! I can not wait to bake these sourdough croissant loafs off ! I’ve had my eye on these for awhile and I hope my turn out half as good as hers look!

It was a LOT of work building-shoveling and planting but so worth the beauty and the bounty!

Trade you some Christmas jam for some milk Kefir grains😜

Who else loves to barter?!? I’ve always enjoyed a good barter! I used to barter hair color for a beach condo with a client. A vacation we could have never afforded at the time when all the kiddos were young.
Today’s trade jam for kefir! Met up with another homesteader to trade.
I let my ferments go prior to our move from GA to TX so starting over! So excited to get our kefir going again! Next will be scoby for kombucha!Do yall like the barter system? Tell me in comments some of your favorite barter items you e done!

Started the oven early today trying to beat the heat!
Sourdough lemon blueberry muffins-fermented overnight in the fridge so quick and easy breakfast! Bread for tonight’s birthday dinner for hubby-now to get that cake finished!
