🌸 You’re invited to help weave our Community Flower Tapestry! 🌸

Join the Floral Current Collective during Snohomish County Farm Tours for a free, all-ages community art experience.

📅 Thursday, August 6
🕛 12:00–3:00 p.m.
📍 Legion Park, Historic Downtown Arlington

Bring a few flowers from your garden, or add fresh seasonal blooms provided by our flower farmers. Together, we’ll create a living tapestry that celebrates local flowers, creativity, and community—one stem at a time.

✨ Just as no two flowers are alike, every person brings something unique to our community. One stem at a time, we weave a tapestry that is far more beautiful than any one of us could create alone.

We’d love for you to be part of this special tradition!

Read the story behind the Community Flower Tapestry and learn more about the event by visiting the link in our bio.

As a cut flower farmer and a soccer mom, I couldn’t be more excited to welcome the FIFA World Cup to our region! 🌎⚽🌸
I recently attended the FIFA Fan Fest Watch Party on the Seattle waterfront, where thousands of fans came together to cheer on Team USA in their opening match against Paraguay. Watching the USA earn a 4–1 victory surrounded by people from all walks of life was a memorable experience. The energy, excitement, and sense of unity reminded me that sports have a unique way of bringing communities together.
One of the greatest gifts of the World Cup is the opportunity to welcome visitors from around the globe with kindness and hospitality. It’s a chance to celebrate our shared love of the game while supporting the local businesses, artisans and farmers who help our communities thrive.
These photos are just a few examples of our region showing its spirit. From my Little Bloom Bar proudly sporting the Snohomish County soccer scarf, to Bigfoot representing local pride, to a beautiful downtown window mural welcoming visitors to Historic Arlington. It’s inspiring to see our community embrace this once in a generation opportunity.
Whether you’re gathering with friends to watch a match, shopping local, decorating your storefront, volunteering, or simply cheering on Team USA, every act of community makes a difference.
Here’s to great soccer, thriving local businesses, and the friendships that bloom when the world comes together.
How are you celebrating the World Cup, supporting local businesses, or cheering on Team USA? I’d love to hear! 🇺🇸⚽🌼

As I walk the farm, I see, hear, and feel the beauty of the flowers around me. There is a quiet hum in the rows, a rhythm that shifts with the light, the weather, and the season. I am deeply moved by this beauty, and macro photography has become a way for me to slow down and truly witness it.

Flowers, especially fresh cut flowers, are fleeting by nature. Their beauty arrives, peaks, and fades — sometimes within days. Through macro photography, I can capture what might otherwise go unnoticed: the delicate folds of a petal, the texture of pollen, the way light settles into the center of a bloom. These images become a form of documentation, preserving a moment in time while honoring the flower’s life cycle.

As I spent time revisiting the full collection, I found myself continually drawn back to a handful of favorite captures — the ones that still feel alive, the ones that hold the light just a little longer. From those images, I printed a small batch and created handmade greeting cards.

Read more about this experience on my website www.flourishorganicfarms.com under the Journal tab.

This collection will be available in time for Mother’s Day

💖Keep Flourishing, Kari
