Cheryl's Mixing Bowl We specialize in cakes, cupcakes - as well as other specialty (and seasonal) desserts.

What started as an obsession with desserts and being a foodie at heart, turned into something more when I took a Wilton Cake decorating class, which turned into multiple classes. I am now willing to share that obsession, passion and love of food with you!

Okay, time for an update!!

If you just accepted an invite to my page, welcome! For those that don't know, "Cheryl" is otherwise known as "Cheryl Lynn Jones-Woodman" 😊

After closing up shop after the Covid outbreak, then breaking my leg in December 2020, I decided it's time to dust off the mixers and get back to doing yummy food!!

Sadly, the pictures posted here are a rather pitiful hodge-podge. I have done hundreds of cakes over the years (99.9% never had a picture taken of them; the few that did get a picture were quick and sloppy, snapped at the last second).

But, with a reboot on the biz... I have a few caveats!

1) I no longer offer free delivery
2) Delivery fee will be based on mileage and time, with base charge of $25. Orders will only be delivered if the total cost on the order is $100 or higher.
3) I will not accept cake orders less than 2 weeks from when you need it (and I will only accept the order if I don't have other plans - or if I have room in my schedule; so, don't wait until the last minute to order!). If you order with less than 30 days notice, a surcharge ($10, or 25%... whichever is greater) will apply.
4) If you have a specific cake topper or decoration you want used, you will either have to pay for it in advance - or provide it yourself (I have numerous specialty items I purchased, to have the order canceled)
5) I DO NOT do Gluten free (or sugar free) desserts
6) I am not limited to just cakes... if you want something different, let's chat!
