Today, we're excited to officially share something we've been working on behind the scenes...
HCS Pantry is proud to announce our partnership with Boon Boona Coffee!
Together, we're creating a brand-new line of chef-crafted coffee spice rubs featuring Boon Boona's exceptional African coffee.
This collaboration is about so much more than creating another seasoning. It's about bringing together two Washington businesses that share a passion for craftsmanship, community, exceptional ingredients, and celebrating the rich cultures behind African coffee.
As a chef, I've always believed that coffee belongs in the kitchen just as much as it belongs in your morning cup. When paired with the right balance of herbs and spices, it creates incredible depth, beautiful bark, and unforgettable flavor on everything from brisket and steaks to vegetables and beyond.
Using Boon Boona's coffee allows us to build something truly unique—combining premium specialty coffee with small-batch culinary craftsmanship to create a product we're incredibly proud of.
This partnership also means a lot on a personal level. Between our families, our roots trace back to Cabo Verde, Senegal, Benin Togo, Nigeria, and Ghana, making this collaboration a meaningful celebration of heritage, community, and shared values.
Over the coming months, we'll be sharing sneak peeks, recipe testing, behind-the-scenes videos, product development, and of course, the official launch of our first collaboration.
