Stopped by Blue Mouse Acres for some sourdough goodies this afternoon. Such a cute little farm stand with all kinds of yummy goodies. Definitely worth checking them out!!

Another cold morning with the girls. The past 5 days have definitely been more work between prepping for the storm to ensure that they all had a dry place to get in out of the weather, to keeping them all fed, watered and keeping their bedding clean and dry.
No matter the weather they need milking twice a day. It’s work, but it’s rewarding work, especially when hearing stories from customers who haven’t been able to drink milk until switching to raw milk. It makes it all worth it. Hope everyone has a blessed day. Stay safe and warm!!

Happy Saturday!!
First time milking in the snow this morning. Not too cold while milking, but the added heater to the milk parlor was definitely a plus. Thankfully we were able to provide a place for the girls and the calves to get in out of the wind and wet.
