🌻 Maybe you’re not too late. Maybe you just haven’t given yourself a chance yet.

I planted these sunflowers at the beginning of August without knowing if they’d have enough time to bloom. Today, they’re seven feet tall and showing off. 🧡

We got lucky with a longer summer, but I wouldn’t have these flowers if I’d let “it’s probably too late” make the decision for me.

It makes me wonder how many things we never start because we think we missed our chance. A dream, a fresh start, something we’ve always wanted to learn or try.

There were no guarantees when I planted these. Just a little hope and a willingness to see what would happen. And looking at these blooms, I have zero regrets.

It’s Monday—the start of a brand-new week. What’s something you’ve been wanting to try? Take that first step. Plant your seed. You never know what could bloom. 🌻🧡

🎃🧡 The Pumpkin Mobile strikes again! 🚐😂

A BIG thank you to Nikki at Opal Onyx Studio for her order of pumpkins and straw bales! 🎃🍂

And an extra shoutout to all the wonderful clients at the studio who decided they needed a little fall in their lives, too! 😂🧡 The Pumpkin Mobile showed up for one delivery and ended up spreading pumpkin happiness all around!

Seriously, y’all are the BEST! 🫶 There’s nothing I love more than seeing small businesses and our community supporting one another. Every single purchase means so much to our little farm!

Pumpkins and watermelons in the same load… this is what happens when your garden has commitment issues. 😂🍉🎃

Quite a few farm-grown watermelons will be at the stand tomorrow! Better late than never. Everybody else is on pumpkin spice, and we’re still shaking our melons. 💁🏼‍♀️🤣

Apparently growing watermelon is my version of gambling. Months of watering and waiting, then one cut to find out if I’ve hit the jackpot. 😂🍉

I hadn’t had a garden since 2017 because… ya know, life. And with only a few watermelon-growing seasons under my belt before that, I was nervous about trying again. Mostly because deciding when to pick one has me questioning every gardening skill I thought I had. 🤣

I check the tendril. Check the bottom. Give it a little pep talk. Then stand there wondering if it needs “just one more day.” 😂

And because I apparently like to keep myself guessing, I tried seedless watermelon this year, too! Most of the pollinator plants died before they got going, but a couple must’ve pulled through because yesterday I picked my FIRST seedless one! 🙌

The watermelons have turned out SO sweet, and we’ve still got plenty on the vines to pick and put out on the stand. 🍉🧡

Getting back in the garden has reminded me how much I missed it. The worrying, I could do without… but that first sweet bite? Pretty good reason to try again. 😉

🎄 Forget the jewelry… somebody put a COW on my Christmas list! 😂🐮🎁

Our Fourth of July baby, Rocket, is looking for his next pasture! 🚀🇺🇸 He’s a Highland × Longhorn with a splash of Maine Anjou—and apparently decided being ordinary wasn’t an option. 😍

He has the coolest markings and is currently trading his newborn fluff for a BLACK coat! 🖤 We can’t wait to see his new look come in.
