Well, it seems we can’t go more than a few months without a new animal around here. Meet Denali, our sweet Australian Shepherd puppy we brought home yesterday🩷 She is fitting in so much already. She was terrified of Ranger at first but they are slowly becoming buddies. She’s a great chore buddy already, she walks out to the goat barn with us, sits next to us while we do chores, and then walks back in, our little shadow. Maybe eventually we’ll have her loading pigs into a trailer for us! 🤣

Merry Christmas everyone!🎄♥️

Whew it’s been a minute! We hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving, we sure did and we have so much to be grateful for. We travelled to Texas to spend Thanksgiving with family. We had a great time and celebrated a couple of birthdays (Justin’s 29th yesterday)!

We appreciate everyone who supports us in any form and just wanted to share some updates. We are still getting a dozen + eggs daily, so if you need eggs all you need to do is reach out. It may be a day or two if we get a bunch of people asking at once, but we will get you eggs if you need them! The goats are doing so great (we have another one now), they are getting friendlier every day and Tilly will come and eat out of our hands daily now. Unfortunately for you guys (but fortunately for us😅), we still are planning to hold off on more pigs until the spring. We need a break and are just starting to enjoy the slow-ness that the colder months bring.

We hope everyone has a safe, cozy, and healthy winter. ❄️🩵

🎄🎁Christmas Mini Sessions🎅🤶

I cannot believe it’s already this time of year! I have decided to offer Christmas mini sessions again this year! Here are the deets:

$50 for a 15 min session. Guaranteed 3+ photos. This is a great opportunity if you just need that ONE good picture for your Christmas cards!

Sessions will be offered at our house in Munger again this year. I would like to stick with November 15th & 16th but dates can be flexible since this is my home. If you like the look of the lights, the evening hours are best, from about 4:15-5:15 is the best in order to see the Christmas lights. I will also be offering pictures in between our trees this year which is a much simpler set up if you aren’t into the “screaming Christmas” look. Message me with any questions or to reserve a time slot! Thank you! ❤️💚

*Dates are weather pending and I can be flexible to make pretty much anything work!😊

I am no influencer (though I do have 3M views on TikTok🫣) so don’t judge me too hard but hopefully this is informative! Justin and I are so glad to have the freezer full of pork and thank you again to everyone who purchased from us this year! ♥️

The goat pen is officially done! They spent the night in there last night and seem to enjoy it! We just need to get a little playground going for them outside and they will be all set.

Today we are trying a little rotational grazing and are letting the goats mow down Ranger’s pen for us! There isn’t much green in the pig pen since the pigs love to root everything up so I’m sure Tom and Tilly are loving all the greenery that Ranger’s pen has to offer. Thankfully the pen should be done soon and they can be moved to their own spot with lots of weeds permanently! Although I may have to work on leash training them to mow down the garden for me😅

Surprise! We got goats! Tom & Tilly are the new kids on the block. Tom is the smaller one and he is a wether - meaning he is fixed. The other one is a girl, Tilly! We are so excited! For now they are hanging out in the pig pen since the pigs went to butcher. Once we get some down time (aka farming is over) we are going to be working on their own spot in the barn and outside. They are still warming up to us, but I’m hoping with some time and animal crackers they will grow to love us 🐐🖤

One last ride for these guys! It’s been fun but we’re ready to fill the freezer back up and have a little winter break. Thank you to everyone who purchased pork from us this go around, we appreciate you!🫶🏼🐖🐽

🚨 Hi everyone! If you bought pork from us this go around, I just sent over everyone’s name and number to the butcher. C**n Creek Packing is the butcher, it should show up as a Caro phone number. They are going to be calling for cutting instructions so please watch for their call! Let Justin or myself know if you have any questions. The pigs are going in Monday. Thank you! 🥓🐷

Back when this page was first created, I made a post to introduce each member on the farm. Recently I realized that I forgot to introduce us! At that time, pretty much everyone knew at least one of us if not both. Since then we have gained so many new followers, and today we have been married for 2 years so I thought this was a good chance to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about us. We are Justin and Kaylee - the J & K behind this little “business”.

We met online back in 2021 (but ended up knowing a lot of the same people😅) Our first-first date was in May of 2021 and we went to Coco Loco. Justin swears up and down that he wasn’t, but I felt like he was awkward and took it as him being disinterested. So a few days later, I made a bad choice and ghosted him.

Fast forward to September of 2021, I was on a trip to Alaska and for some reason he started showing up in my Facebook friend suggestions while I was there. To this day I have no idea what made me do it, but I added him on Facebook while on the trip and also added him back on Snapchat. A week later in October, he started snapchatting me again! He ended up inviting me to a little barn party. Initially I was unsure about going and I confided in my mom about it. It was a Friday night and I was sitting at home so she encouraged me to go. I told her I went on a date with him once but didn’t really know him that well. She insisted that I just go. So I went! (Thanks mom!😅)

Justin and I have been inseparable ever since. We started dating a week later, got engaged 8 months after that, and got married the following September. It is true what they say, when you know, you know. ❤️ Justin and I are still each others best friend and we still enjoy spending every possible moment together, even now. Today, I am so proud of us and how far we’ve come in such a short period of time! I love this little farm life and I can’t wait to see where the rest of our years take us - and how many more animals I can talk him into! If you made it to the end of this, thank you! It’s one of my favorite stories to tell and it takes me right back to those early days🥹🤎

Happy Anniversary JR, I love you!
