We may fill your cups with milk, but your support and gratitude fill our hearts. Truly. 🥹 It makes the work worth it.

All the moms know.

We don’t separate Bessie and Chip every night, so when not, he gets to watch mama eat her feed and has a chance to sneak a few nibbles, if she lets him. 🤭

This moment, she was not letting him. In her defense, the kid drinks gallons of her milk a day, so I think she deserves to eat her meal without anyone asking for it. 🤭

When we say we move cows every day, this is what we mean.

AMP grazing is fascinating on so many levels. If you’ve never learned about it, here’s a great article: https://www.nmhealthysoil.org/2022/03/13/adaptive-multi-paddock-amp-grazing-in-a-nutshell/

It may look simple, and in many ways it is, but there’s a whole world of knowledge in the pasture management, soil health, herd management, forages, and so on that goes into it. Simple, yet complex!

We love it. The cows love it. And it creates and facilitates a thriving ecosystem as we go.
