I recently catered my own party 😆: a surprised brunch for 60th birthday!
A nice cozy lakeside gathering that truly was a surprise!
I couldn’t have pulled it off without bringing in reinforcements (lots of dear friends). For this one I also sourced out some of the food! Nothing wrong with finding great vendors to supplement when taking on a large event.😆
The menu:
🦐Poached shrimp with classic cocktail sauce
🧀Charcuterie
🍇Meze
🥐Pastries: almond croissants , lemon raspberry muffins, chocolate chunk scones
🐣Crustless Quiche: spinach + Boursin, bacon, cheddar, caramelized onion and feta, sundried tomato, basil
🍓Fruit kebabs
🥯Smoked Salmon with bagels + fixings
🧁 Chocolate-Peanut Butter + White Chocolate, Raspberry + Coconut mini cupcakes
🍓Chocolate covered strawberries
👱♀️Butterscotch blondies
Our favorite bartender served espresso martinis, Aperol spritz’s and Pimm’s punch. Along with lovely wines, beers and

I loved that the menu was full of “picky” foods! No fork or knife required. The atmosphere was casual and chill.
And…. No event is complete without flowers!! I got these absolutely gorgeous ranuculus from in Bethlehem CT
If you’re thinking of a laid back fun brunch for a crowd, this menu is perfect! What to you think?!
