It continues to happen with new fawns born daily. Here is one our new born twins that was recently born. Always nice to see them immediately find the mom’s first milk. It is common for fawns to suck mom while laying down the first couple of days.

Our first fawn of the year! It’s a girl with her pink tag! She was a single birth and nursing well! In the coming days and weeks we will be very busy making sure all the new fawns get off to a good start! Exciting times! Sure glad my Aggie is home to help during this time of year.....

It is an exciting time at Rafter C Whitetails! The horns are growing and there are many at different stages of development. You have to be mindful of the ole deer Breeder statement “ It’s not how they start but how they finish”! It’s a race to the finish at this point.
