Going to be another extremely hot day! Tuesday's Neosho Farmers Market is canceled.

Due to the record setting heat predicted for today, and the safety of our market customers and vendors, we have decided to cancel our Tuesday evening market.

Please plan on joining us this Saturday, August 1st for our Artisan Day and Cookie Crawl.

Triple H Farms welcomes our newest baby Scottish Highland calf. Honeysuckle (Honey) gave birth to a bull calf at about 8 am this morning. I showed up at about 8:05 and she was just starting to lick her baby clean. Go figure...the hottest day with a heat advisory in place.

I've got fresh straw on the ground under the trees, a 20 inch fan blowing on them, and I gave Honey some molasses water and a bit of sweet grain. They are definitely heat stressed but they seem to be doing well. The second picture was take several hours later. He was worn out from all the "birth" excitement. I check on them about every 30 minutes. He's usually up standing next to momma or walking nearby when I come out. Then he plops back down in the straw.

Just a heads up to our , the Neosho Farmers Market won't be open Tuesday, July 21st (tomorrow) due to the extreme heat Neosho and SW Missouri will be experiencing during the day.

Catch Triple H Farms this Saturday morning, July 25th, from 9 am to noon across from the Newton County Library.

A delightful and surprising combination! Thanks to our friends The Rustic Sourdough Co. and One Tree Farm, we built this flavorful breakfast sandwich!

We started with a gorgeous toasted blueberry sourdough bagel🥯🫐, added a fried egg🍳, slice of pepper Jack🧀, applewood smoked thick sliced bacon🥓, Dijon mustard and the *cough* icing on the cake--lime curd.

And oh my goodness, the burst of flavor with just a hint of tartness!!

Happy Tuesday and ! First ratatouille of the season, featuring our own produce including tomatoes!🍅🍆

Usually I do a sundial shape, but the tomatoes were too big. What a problem to have!😆
