Many of you who visit the Hernando Farmers Market know Ashley Colburn Lebo , Crystal Dawn Bartolotta and Peter Bartolotta
the wonderful folks at The Bakery. They aren’t just fellow vendors to us. They are our friends, part of our market family, and people who continually pour love, kindness, and generosity back into our community.
Ashley unexpectedly lost her husband, Charles “Charlie” Lebo Sr., at only 55 years old.
This heartbreaking loss comes during an already incredibly difficult season for their family, as Ashley and Charlie’s son, Nathan, is battling leukemia. Now, while grieving the sudden loss of her husband and supporting Nathan through his fight, Ashley is also facing the financial burden of funeral expenses without life insurance.
There really aren’t words big enough for what this family is carrying right now.
One of the things we treasure most about being part of our local vendor community is that it truly becomes a family. We celebrate together, work side by side through long market days, support one another’s businesses, and when one of our own is hurting, we show up.
So today, SugahLilly's Creations is asking our friends, customers, fellow vendors, and community to help us show up for the Lebo family.
