We are taking orders for half & full hogs. All processing is done at D&H Meats in Vanlue Ohio. Full hog orders can be taken to butcher of choice ( additional fuel charges may apply )
There is a Non-Refundable deposit of $125 for half hog orders, $250 deposit for whole hog orders. ( half hog order deposits will be returned if the other half of hog is not sold ) Average hanging weight is 240-260 lbs. Current selling weight is $3.55 per pound plus the processing fees ( these will have to be paid to the processor at the time meat is picked up and is NOT included in the price for the meat )
Once deposit is made, you will receive a text containing your hog’s information including hog ear tag #, deposit payment confirmation, and processing date. You will need the ear tag number when you call the processor to give them cutting instructions. You will also get a reminder text message 1 week prior to processing date.
