Some may be confused by “the chosen woman walks alone.” I listed to this audio over and over again, and while I never truly feel “alone” in my walk, I have felt a sense of loneliness, and this message really spoke to me. However, I’m pretty stubborn, and even though loneliness creeps in sometimes, I know what God has told me to do when it comes to my family. Build a healthy, self-sustaining life. Get back to the basics and use the land and the things that He gave us from the start to fuel & heal our bodies. It’s hard when the people you surround yourself with aren’t on board. It’s hard when influences are everywhere. It’s hard when this society is all about convenience and instant gratification. Friends & family both rolling eyes and making snide remarks when we say no. For what? Wanting the best for the bodies of me & mine? This world needs a wake up call. We all need to start thinking for ourselves and stop letting “the powers that be” tell us what to put in our bodies, how to live, how to think, etc. without questioning it. When I hear “walk alone” in this sermon, I don’t hear it as “I’m the only one on this path and I’m never going to have anyone beside me.” I hear it as, “The road is narrow (Matthew 7:13-14),” and my family and I are trying our best to stay on the narrow.

Let’s build raised beds! 👩🏻‍🌾 This project has been so rewarding! Challenging, but rewarding! We still aren’t 100% finished yet, but we are finally able to start enjoying the fruits (pun intended😋) of our labor. God is good! All the time. 💙
