*Parts of a pig play a very important rule in our daily lives wether we know it or not!

- Every single part of a pig can be put to use from internal organs, to pig bones, to pig blood, to food on the table, and more! 🐷

- Fatty Acids derived from pork bone fat are used as a hardening agent in crayons and also gives them their distinctive smell! 🖍

- Pig hearts are very similar in size, anatomy and function to human hearts. Studies show adapted pig hearts could be transplanted into patients within three years from now! 🫀

- Pork is the most widely consumed meat in the world! 🌎

- The pig pancreas is an organ from which insulin is obtained. (An essential hormone for diabetics) 👩🏻‍🔬

-ACTH, a hormone used in human medicine for the treatment of arthritis and inflammatory diseases, can be obtained from the pig's pituitary gland! 🏥
