Here is a step-by-step recipe to turn your ingredients into a comforting, flavorful soup.
# # 🥣 Hearty Chicken & Sausage Harvest Soup

* Prep time: 20 minutes
* Cook time: 30 minutes
* Servings: 4–6

------------------------------
# # 📝 Ingredients List

* Meats: 1 lb ground sausage, 2 diced chicken breasts
* Vegetables: 4 tomatoes (diced), 1 medium onion (chopped), 3–4 potatoes (peeled and cubed), 2 cups fresh spinach
* Aromatics & Liquids: 3 cloves garlic (minced), 4 cups chicken broth
* Pantry Staples (Optional): 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste

------------------------------
# # 👩‍🍳 Cooking Steps

1. Brown the Meats
* Heat a large soup pot over medium-high heat.
* Add the ground sausage and cook until fully browned, breaking it into small pieces. Remove the sausage with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
* Add the diced chicken breast to the same pot. Cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5–7 minutes). Remove and set aside with the sausage.
2. Sauté the Aromatics
* Turn the heat down to medium. If the pot is dry, add 1 tbsp of olive oil.
* Toss in the chopped onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until soft and translucent.
* Stir in the minced garlic and cook for just 1 minute until highly fragrant.
3. Build the Base
* Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any flavorful browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
* Add the cubed potatoes, diced tomatoes, and return the cooked sausage and chicken to the pot.
* Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 15–20 minutes (or until the potatoes are fork-tender).
4. Wilt the Spinach & Serve
* Uncover the pot and stir in the fresh spinach. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until the leaves are completely wilted.
* Taste the broth and season with salt, black pepper, or a pinch of Italian seasoning if u have it
