HAPPY FRIDAY FIVE STONES FAMILY!

Today is Teacher Appreciation Day!
We will be offering a beer on us to each Teacher and any other role that helps support the education of our youth! (Example: bus drivers, custodians, cafeteria personnel…if your career role is supporting the kids in school we’ve got you!)

**KITCHEN OPENS AT 4:00PM**

(Be sure to bring your Teacher/School Staff ID to get your appreciation drink!)

Also, we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Day at Five Stones on Friday, August 28th! All teachers and school staff will receive a drink on us! Just be sure to bring your school id with you friends!

🌟 Hymns & Hops is held to gather & SING LOUD with one another…so come ready to SING!

🌟 Singing begins at 6:00PM Sharp INSIDE!

🌟 Lawn Chairs are prohibited inside! (Please let our staff members know if you cannot stand for very long & they would be happy to get you a seat on the perimeter!)

🌟 Come Early if you plan on ordering food! As the crowd grows so do our wait times friends! Coming early will guarantee plenty of time to eat and enjoy your meal!

Our Inklings Dry English Stout is now available in cans to-go…

“Inklings” was named after “The Inklings”: a group of Oxford Professors and residents who gathered at a little pub called “The Eagle & The Child”. The members included C.S. Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien, Owen Barfield, Charles Williams, Warren Lewis, Hugo Dyson, Robert Havard, and Nevill Coghill.
These men met often over a beer to discuss and share their writings, critiques and ideas with one another. It would be quite something to be a fly on the wall to witness one of their many gatherings and to listen in on the shared musings.
 
Our family was inspired by this and wanted to celebrate this type of sharing of life that can happen over a beer. Hence..Inklings was born. We are unsure what sort of beer Lewis, Tolkien and their comrades enjoyed at these meetings...but our guess is it was something similar to a low ABV traditional pub style pint.

In inspiration, we decided to brew our very own dry Irish stout with traditional Irish Malts for the first release of our Inkling series. We have been brewing the Inklings dry stout since 2019 and are beyond proud to share it with you.

Come by this weekend to snag a few for your own time of sharing life over creative works, intelligent thought, & friendly critiques.

Join us this evening at 5:00PM as we welcome back Two Guys and a Guitar for some LIVE MUSIC and great times! 🎶

These guys always bring a crowd and add so much life to our back space so be sure to get your seats early!
They’re known for singing all the favorites, taking requests and helping engage the crowd throughout! It’s always a great time and we cannot wait to share the evening with them and our community.
