The incubator is half full and the countdown is on!
Buffs, blacks, splashes, and surprises are all tucked in and cooking. There’s nothing better than watching these little fluff balls start their journey.

🐥🏡 FULL HOUSE at Honey Creek Silkies tonight! 🏡🐥

Every brooder is full, every peep is loud, and there are fluffy little Silkies EVERYWHERE 😍

From tiny hatchlings to growing fluff balls, the nursery is packed wall to wall tonight and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The constant chirping, tiny footsteps, and fuzzy heads popping up everywhere is what farm life is all about.

Thank you to everyone supporting our little farm and loving these birds as much as we do ❤️

When you have a friend in need, you lend a hand… and somehow end up running a full-blown egg daycare 😂🥚

Celebration Silkies reached out, and of course we couldn’t say no—so now the incubator is loaded, the eggs are lined up, and we’ve got two very dedicated supervisors on duty 🧐🐣

They’ve already checked on these eggs about a dozen times today… pretty sure they think if they stare hard enough, they’ll hatch faster 🤣

Stay tuned… hatch day is coming, and our “management team” is ready 🐥💛

One week in the incubator and the magic is already underway 🐣✨

Our silkie eggs have officially hit the 7-day mark, which means tiny little lives are developing more and more each day. This is always one of the most exciting stages—knowing what’s happening inside even if we can’t see it yet.

Now we wait, watch, and keep everything just right for them. If all goes well, we’ll be seeing some fluffy little arrivals before we know it!

Spring is finally rolling in at Honey Creek Silkies! ☀️🌿

With the warmer weather showing up, we pulled some panels off the coop to get more fresh air flowing through. The flock is already enjoying the sunshine and extra breeze 🐓

This time of year always brings happier chickens and beautiful, healthy eggs!

When winter shows up swinging, we make sure the flock stays warm, safe, and spoiled. Happy chickens, no frozen combs, and business as usual here on the farm.
