Busy time of year around the farm here. Collecting sap, boiling, finishing and bottling syrup.....building hives and frames and frame stands. Reworking the bee yard and getting ready for the 14 new colonies coming in the next month😊 Absolutely love spending this gorgeous weather outside all day!

Take note to the pollen baskets on the bees. They're finding it out there somewhere. My allergies also know it's out there🙄

Big golden queen checking out her newest work. Newly laid eggs, all stages of larvae, and some capped brood present in the hive today. I found 3 different colors of pollen coming in on the worker bees pollen baskets. The girls are cleaning up some old frames that have honey and pollen that will go into swarm traps in the coming months.
