Great “waffle”!! Love our Omlet feeders and waterers!! This automatic feeder is on my wish list for winter.

August is officially here, which means it's time for a fresh waffle! 🐔

I know we're in the hottest part of the year here in Western New York, but believe it or not, I'm already thinking ahead to winter and ways to make life a little easier for both me and my flock. ❄️

One thing that's been on my chicken bucket list for a long time is an Omlet feeder. They claim the 12 lb feeder can hold enough feed for 6 chickens for up to a week! Less daily chore time in the snow sounds pretty amazing to me, so I figured you might want one too!

Wally’s ladies are starting to lay! Eggs may be small but they are still beautiful!

Fourteen beautiful eggs survived the trip from Indiana to New Hampshire! Five BBS Marans, seven Golden Cuckoo Marans and two Forest Eggers are now in the incubator! Hatch day can’t come soon enough!!

Spring of 2024 - two ducklings and four chicks – that’s how it all started!

That’s where it was supposed to end!

My son, Adam, took his three-year-old daughter Miyah to Tractor Supply and they “surprised” me with a little box full of cuteness!!

Those two ducklings and four chicks triggered a love in all of us for all things feathered!! Somehow those six little lives turned into a flock consisting of chickens, geese, turkeys, ducks, quail and button quail. We went from no coops to six with more in the works! Chicken math is real!!

I’m blessed to be sharing this adventure with my son and five-year-old granddaughter – Happy 5th Birthday Miyah!!!
