There is so much to say about this year’s Finals because it hit differently in every possible way. After everything Baylee and our family have navigated over the past few weeks—from our scary breakdown in Camden, to Stormy’s early retirement, and then Dad’s stroke—life threw a lot of variables our way. But when we couldn't be there, our INCREDIBLE rodeo family, and Brother, willingly stepped up, making sure Baylee was fully supported and taken care of every single step of the way. 🫶🏼 We could not be more thankful for each and every one of you who hauled her, sent videos & sweet sentiments, and stood beside our girl this weekend.
Baylee showed up and put together two solid barrel racing runs this weekend. Lynx kicked things off picking up some points in Round 1. In Round 2, she had the absolute honor of jump-riding to a 5th-place finish!! 🖤 We are incredibly grateful to our favorite Galloways for offering her such a cool opportunity and for loving our girl like you do!!
Nasty wasn’t quite feeling like herself this weekend, so they struggled to find their usual rhythm. They still fought hard enough to make it back to the short go, but unfortunately caught a pole, ending their hopes for a national qualification.
To top off the weekend, she was chosen as the recipient of the 2026 NHSRA Crisis Fund/Hard Luck Scholarship!! This award honors a competitor who perseveres through hardships while continuing to show empathy to those around them. We are so incredibly grateful and proud of the heart she showed this season!!
Our girl finished her sophomore season feeling defeated, yet deeply seen. Seen for the incredible young lady and fierce competitor she is, both inside and outside the arena. Her perseverance through relentless adversity caught some well-deserved attention because this girl simply refuses to go down without a fight. 💪🏼 We let her navigate her own struggles, and figure things out to the best of her ability, knowing that she will ALWAYS rise above. Through it all, ALL GLORY BELONGS TO GOD!! 🙌🏼
Congratulations to everyone on an awesome season and we wish all of the national qualifiers the absolute best of luck!! 🎉 Sending prayers for safety as everyone makes their way to Nebraska in July!! 🌙🌴 Let’s go !!
