What does a farmer do when there are extra flowers? Play! I love challenging myself with parameters, and it’s a great way to stretch imagination and range. Each time, I learn a little more about what I like and don’t care for, hopefully making it easier for future requests and assignments. That being said, I am definitely my own worst critic. I really liked this arrangement in the moment, but after photographing it, I discovered all kinds of things I would change…it’s too full (I’d like a little more movement and airiness, it feels heavy instead of light and whimsical), and that splotch of magenta toward the right drives me bananas. And, the cosmos on the top looks like a t.v. antenna 😂 How lucky am I to get to do something that makes me want to grow and be better?
