What a night! Brews & FAQs brought together more than 50 neighbors, board members, and volunteers at Brewery Legitimus to talk about bringing a full-service, community-owned grocery store to the northwest corner of Connecticut. We loved the thoughtful questions, conversations, and the excitement you all brought to this work. CT only has two open locations (in Willimantic and New London) and they're doing incredible work! Over 12,400 members, generating nearly $15 million in revenue, and employing about 100 people. Curious what it takes to open a community-owned grocery store in northwestern Connecticut? Grab a drink and join us for Brews & FAQs: Farmington River Food Co-op on Thursday, August 20th from 5:30-7:30 PM at Brewery Legitimus in New Hartford.

We'll talk about our vision, introduce members of our Board of Directors, and share how you can get involved. No registration needed to attend, just RSVP on our Facebook event to give Brewey Legitimus a headcount. We look forward to seeing you there!

We were saddened to learn that the member-owners at Mad River Market Co-op have voted to dissolve the organization.
