Golden Greens is officially baking up AWARD-WINNING goodies 🏆💛

I entered the Virginia State Fair thinking, well… let’s just see what happens. 😂
Apparently what happens is I come home with:

🥇 FIRST PLACE — Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Sourdough Cookies
🥇 FIRST PLACE — Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Homemade Toffee Walnut Sourdough Cookies
🥉 THIRD PLACE — Sourdough Chocolate Babkas

Three ribbons. Two blue. One very happy baker. 🥹🏆

These are my own recipes — tested, tweaked, and perfected until I got them exactly where I wanted them. So seeing all that work bring home three ribbons feels pretty incredible. 💛

Apparently all that obsessing over the tiniest details was good for something after all. 🏆✨

Breakfast, but make it ✨Golden✨ 🍞☕️🍳

I’ve been playing around with a steakhouse-style honey wheat brown sourdough — you know, that slightly sweet brown bread they bring to the table where you say, “I’ll just have one piece,” and suddenly half the loaf… or the whole loaf… is gone.🤣😆

Toasted with butter, eggs, and coffee this morning and yep… this one’s a keeper. 🤎🍞

Just a little fair fun 🎡🍂✨

We happened upon a little ticket magic at exactly the right time, thanks to a very kind soul who thought of us. 💚 We had the BEST time soaking up all the rides, treats, lights & fall fair fun!

We also managed to squeeze in a little Golden Greens-style exploring — gardens, farm animals, horticulture, and all the good old-fashioned fair things in between. 🌱🐷🐓

Funny how a simple day at the fair can come with a few unexpected surprises… apparently, we picked a pretty good year to show up. 👀✨

Two days late, but listen… these award-winning market videos take time. 😂🎬 We’re learning, we’re trying, and somehow we survived the Wizard of Oz–level wind without the pavilion taking flight. 🌪️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to the New Kent Farmers Market on Saturday, stopped by, grabbed some goodies, and supported Golden Greens. It was such a fun day, wind tunnel and all. 💚✨

This week’s menu comes with a little plot twist — September 30th will be the final STIR pickup for Golden Greens. 🚐💛

Golden Greens is simply changing lanes, changing scenery, and heading into a new chapter. Same little business, just making some moves and seeing where the road takes things. ✨

I’m so thankful for every order, every market, every conversation, and everyone who has made this such a fun ride.

Orders are due Saturday, September 26th at 3 PM for Wednesday, September 30th pickup.

Pickup times: 9 AM–1 PM & 5–7 PM.

New scenery. Same Golden Greens. Plenty more to come. 🌞🌱
