A little personal life + Whiskful Caking update! 🎂❤️ I’m so excited to share that I was recently promoted to Payroll Manager at my job! This is such an exciting opportunity for me professionally, and I’m incredibly grateful to be stepping into this new role. However, with that exciting change, comes a little change here at Whiskful Caking too.
I have always balanced this little business around a part-time job, homeschooling, my family, and all of the other beautiful chaos that fills our days. As I transition into my new full-time role, I’m going to be much more intentional about the number of cake orders I accept each week.
Whiskful Caking is NOT going anywhere! I still love creating cakes for your birthdays, weddings, celebrations, and all of the special moments you trust me to be a small part of. I’ll simply be accepting fewer orders so that I can continue giving each one the time and attention it deserves without stretching myself too thin, and ensuring I have time to exist with my family.
All currently booked orders are still on my calendar and nothing is changing for anyone who already has an order reserved. ❤️ Going forward, though, availability will be more limited, so I definitely recommend reaching out early if you have a date in mind! As of right now, I am fully booked for September through November.
I’m incredibly thankful for every person who has ordered from me, shared my work, recommended me to someone else, or supported this little side gig over the years. You guys are the reason I get to keep doing something I genuinely love. Here’s to new chapters, finding balance, and still making life a little sweeter along the way. 🎂💕
