If your from New Orleans you already know about red bean Mondays. Didn't feel like cooking them yesterday so I let my beans soak over night for today.. And BAAAAAM here you go!!! Me and the family so home sick we had a taste for some New Orleans style chargrilled oysters!! So you already know I had to make a few phone calls and my Nola sister friends walked ya girl through it!!! I made my own butter sauce for the oysters and added my shrimps on top!!!🤣🤣 shid me and Lloyd was shucking oysters for the first time!! We make a good team even though I be getting on his nerves🤦🏾‍♀️😩!!

So today I was craving seafood smothered okra! Just because you in another state you can still cook your creole/cajun soul food meals. Plus I did a creole potato salad with a real kick to it!! I haven't cooked this meal in a long time. I want to thank Ms Jane for walking me through the steps!! And no it's not SLIMY!! Dont knock it until you try it!!!👊🏾
