Kirstin's Stomping Out Hunger Journey

Kirstin's Stomping Out Hunger Journey A place where friends, family and Team Kirstin supporters can follow Kirstin's progress and show her some love. Kirstin is your typical 13 yr old. John Warriors.

Kirstin's trying to stomp out hunger one parish, neighborhood and rhinestone at a time! She's in 7th grade and is on Honor Roll ( School is the most important thing) She is also a 2nd year member of her school's elite dance team and a 5 year member of St. John's Co-Ed soccer team, the St. She is also a member of the National Junior Beta Honor Society and of her school's yearbook committee. Kirstin

got involved with stomping out hunger in Dec of 2013 and since then she's collected over 1,000 non perishable food items that have been delivered to local food banks throughout the River Parishes. Kirstin, along with her mom and some close friends have spent the last 2 Christmas Eve's (2013 & 2014) feeding the hungry in New Orleans, in those 2 years we've fed about 250 people hot homemade meals ( with awesome donations from friends and family) in 2014, we were also able to pass out toiletry bags, blankets and coats. We hope that each year, we're able to do a little more. Follow our page to see what Kirstin does next! Feel free to show her some love! Thanks for taking a minute out of your day to see what Kirstin is doing! Below is a list of most requested items from food banks:
Peanut Butter and Jelly, Canned Meats, One Box Meals (Hamburger Helper types), Cereals, Spaghetti and Sauce, Macaroni and Cheese, Beans, Rice, Canned Fruits and Veggies, basically anything that will not spoil!

Ok guys. We've made a collective decision (Kirstin and myself) to put a pause on this years Christmas Eve mission, especially since we will be feeding the homeless with Bridge House the Sunday before.

We will be turning our attention and efforts to helping ALL of Louisiana.
We're going to take the toiletries and things we've had collected and distribute them as needed.

We're collecting food (non perishables), clothes, toiletries, toys, cleaning supplies, blankets, towels, pet supplies, anything you'd be willing to give. We will start collecting today!

Message Ronnie or myself and we'll schedule a pick up time! Thanks again in advance!

Ok guys. We can't just sit around. I've got to do something, therefore. We are going to start collecting clothes, food, cleaning supplies (for cleanup) and toys starting now.

Laplace has been blessed this go around, but it wasn't long ago. We were under water as well. It's our time to give back!

Message us and we'll arrange pickup!

Ready, set, go!

We're just about ready to start our high school career as a Comet! Keep watching for more exciting things to come!

Hey guys. I know we've been MIA for awhile, but we've been super busy.

However, we volunteered Sunday at Bridge House feeding the homeless. We had a great day. We will be back there the Sunday before Thanksgiving and the Sunday before Christmas as well as continuing our Christmas Eve tradition.

With that being said, we are currently collecting for our Christmas Eve Project.

Backpacks, socks, blankets, toiletries, feminine products are just a few of the things were collecting. If you'd like to donate please leave a comment or a message!

Thanks in Advance.

Our Stomping Out Hunger Christmas Eve Mission reminder.

We are still actively collecting (we're in desperate need of blankets) blankets and men's and women's outer wear. Jackets/sweaters/sweatshirts and men's socks! These can be new or used.

I will be going out next week and purchasing blankets with money that has been donated, along with my own money. If anyone would rather donate money, please know that it's going towards our Christmas Eve mission ONLY (I can provide receipts if you'd like!)

I know I've had several people say they've had things they wanted to donate but I can't remember who said what. I will gladly come and collect it from you or you may drop it off at my house. We will wash anything that needs washed! No worries!thanks again to everyone!
Thanks again to each and everyone of you that have loved and supported us and helped us grow this event each year!
