I’m on vacation! Of course that entails eating, but just not in New Orleans. Don’t worry. I’ll be home soon.

I couldn’t pass through Foley, Alabama, without trying that place where they throw the rolls at you. I wondered if people visited just for that gimmick, or if the food was good. I was happy to discover that the food was great! Link to my report:

For some reason I thought about my mom today, God rest her soul. When I was a kid, she’d regularly threaten to beat me “black and blue”. Then I’d do something stupid, and she’d do it! She was a woman of her word.

Anyway, in her honor, I decided to get a black and blue snowball today. Blackberry and blueberry. Great flavor combo!
