We are thrilled to support our local food bank Pine Lake Food Shelf.
The need is real and going to get bigger as the goverment shutdown is already having government employees asking for help. SNAP may be delayed as well. So please, if you can, help them.

We are so grateful to QuakerDale Farms and the Hardin County UTV Club for their very generous donation of food items and money. What a great story!!They hosted a side by side ride asking for items of food and the winner of the raffle gave the money back to be donated to the Pine Lake Food Shelf.

🌻 FREE SUNFLOWERS FOR LOCAL FARMERS! 🌻

Are you looking to add something unique and nutritious to your silage this fall? We’ve got about 6 acres of sunflowers still with their heads on mixed in with foxtail grass.

We’re offering it free to any local farmer in exchange for mowing the field.

While these sunflowers didn’t reach their usual height this year (the foxtails won that battle since we skipped pre-emergent), they’re still packed with value!

Here’s why they make great feed:
🌾 Nutritional Value: Sunflowers are rich in phosphorus and contain vitamins A, D, and E—great for goats and cattle.
🌿 Fiber Content: The stalks provide essential fiber that supports healthy digestion.
🐐 Palatability: Goats especially love the green stalks and leaves, especially when seeds are still developing.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Kelli Kelli Sims Weaver after her courageous battle with cancer. 💔

Kelli was so much more than a friend to each of us at Quakerdale Farms she was family. Her passion for this place was unmatched, and her dedication to our vision helped shape the heart and soul of our brand. Even in the midst of her fight, she kept working, encouraging, and inspiring us all.

Her very last trip just a couple of months ago was here, to Quakerdale Farms, to see it in bloom. That’s how much this farm meant to her and how much she meant to us.

Kelli’s love and support extended beyond the farm, reaching deep into the Quakerdale Foundation and their team. Her spirit of joy, generosity, and tireless commitment will live on in everything we do.

We are heartbroken by this loss, but we are forever grateful for the time, energy, and love Kelli poured into our lives and into Quakerdale Farms. Please keep her two sons in your prayers as they face life without their amazing mom.

Rest in peace, Kelli. Your legacy will always be part of this farm. 💜
