Rector Valley Ranch Wilsons Gina 1 “Rosie” is officially the first of our piglets to leave the farm! 🥹🐷

I couldn’t be happier with the family who claimed this beautiful ginger & black gilt. It’s already pretty clear she’s going to be very loved and very spoiled! 💕

We’re also excited to see what the future holds for Rosie as she grows and goes on to produce some beautiful litters for their KuneKune program!

Thank you, Foubert Farms, for giving our girl such a wonderful home! ❤️

Two retired breeders looking for a new pasture 🤎

Tiffany & Spice are 8-year-old Nigerian Dwarf does ready to spend their retirement years being spoiled with plenty of cuddles and treats. Both girls are incredibly sweet and have been trained to stand for milking.

They’ve given many wonderful years, and we’d love to find them a home where they can enjoy several more as loved pasture pets.

PM me if you’re interested in giving these sweet girls their retirement home ❤️

What a journey this has been 🤍

If you would’ve told me a few years ago that I’d be sharing the story of our little family farm and Baa-tanicals on WISH-TV, I would’ve laughed. I never would’ve imagined little old me would end up here.

Looking back, I can see God’s hand in every step. The doors He’s opened, the lessons He’s taught me, and the courage He’s given me to take leaps of faith when I was terrified to.

My life truly is a testimony that when God places something on your heart, obedience often requires a whole lot of faith. It won’t always make sense, and it certainly won’t always be easy, but He is faithful.

I’m so grateful for everyone who has encouraged, supported, shared my posts, and believed in this dream. Thank you for being part of this journey ❤️

From our little farm to WISH-TV 🤍

This Saturday, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏, I’ll be joining the Indiana Grown segment to share the story behind Baa-tanicals, our family farm, and the heart behind our handcrafted goat milk skincare.

If you’re up early, I’d love for you to watch!

Things may be a little quieter around here this week because it’s fair week! 🐐

Behind Baa-tanicals is a busy little farm, a family, a couple of 4-H goats, and a whole lot happening outside the soap shop.

This week, we’re trading some of our usual making and packaging time for early mornings, late nights, livestock barns, and making memories at the fair.

Orders are still going out and I’ll still be popping in here, but for the next few days, we’re soaking up fair week with our girls 🤎

This morning started with a fresh sourdough loaf coming out of the oven and me wondering how I was going to survive the next hour without cutting into it.

Then the girls came running.

“Mom! The piglets are here!”

I don’t think I’ve ever made it to the barn so fast.

I grew up raising pigs for 4-H. My grandpa was one of the biggest Hampshire producers in Hendricks County, and some of my favorite childhood memories were walking the farrowing barns. Later, my first “big girl job” was working in a farrowing house, helping bring hundreds of litters into the world everyday.

Somehow I’ve gone all these years without farrowing pigs of my own.

This morning felt like a full-circle moment.

Abbey immediately started hauling fresh straw and spreading it around like a seasoned farmhand. Emmarie gathered grain and food & water pans for a hungry mama. I grabbed an old feed sack, a bucket of water, and took care of the rest.

When the work was done, we stood there together watching those babies nurse while their mama rested.

And I cried.

Not because of the piglets.

Because after all these years of dreaming about moments like this, I wasn’t rushing off to an office. I wasn’t missing it. I got to be there. And I got to share it with my girls.

There is something incredibly sweet about finally holding the life you’ve waited so long to build. All in Gods perfect timing!

This is the good stuff 🤎

A double rainbow over the farm tonight, and I could even see both ends of one of them 🌈

In the middle of storm clouds and more rain on the way, what a beautiful reminder of God’s promise and His faithfulness.

His glory is everywhere if we take the time to look ❤️
