In honor of what many are saying could be Taylor Swift’s wedding weekend here in Rhode Island, I wanted to share a special memory from my days in radio.

Years ago, I had the opportunity to meet Taylor, before her concert and she sent me this sweet handwritten card. We actually spent some time talking about my upcoming wedding, so seeing her reaching this milestone makes me happy for her.

Whether the rumors are true or not, I’m wishing Taylor and Travis all the happiness in the world.

I wanted to give a little update on my health because it’s something I don’t share very often.

I have an autoimmune disease called limited scleroderma, also known as CREST syndrome. CREST stands for Calcinosis, Raynaud’s phenomenon, Esophageal dysfunction, Sclerodactyly, and Telangiectasia. While I try not to let it define me, the reality is that I’ve been dealing with a flare for quite some time now.

It’s made it difficult to get out and do the things I love, including going to my favorite restaurants, traveling around New England and enjoying all of these beautiful summer days. If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quieter lately, that’s why.

The good news is that I’m slowly but surely starting to feel better and get back out there.

I enjoy living vicariously through all of your posts 🙂
