Here’s something I’ve been thinking about…

When you pick up a bottle of honey at the supermarket, do you really know where it came from? I mean, do you actually know?

You can look at the label and see that it came from another country, but you probably don’t know much about the journey it took to get onto that shelf.

When you buy local honey, you know where it came from and who collected it from the hives.

That’s why I like keeping things local. I know the work that goes into every jar because I’m the one doing it.

There’s a whole lot of work that goes into our honey that most people never see. Checking hives, working the bees, pulling honey, extracting it, bottling it, and doing it all over again. It’s a lot of long days and hard work, but it’s something I’m proud to do.

I truly appreciate everyone who supports us and the work we put into it.

As always, fair week goes by way too fast.
We’ve enjoyed every single one of you who stopped by to grab some honey, say hello, or just take a few minutes to talk. And for those of you who stopped in with questions about bees, beekeeping, or how we care for our hives—we love sharing what we do.
Whether you bought something or simply stopped to visit, we truly appreciate every one of you.

Its always an adventure when we're in one of our bee yards. Found this swarm on a tree earlier this evening when I pulled up, and managed to get them all in their new home 🐝
