Eating healthy can be challenging when you’re not prepared to do so. Time is a factor in food prep and we sometimes use it as an excuse to not take the steps to start eating right.
On your next trip to the grocery store or farmers market, be sure to grab as many easy to prepare veggies as possible. Organic produce is always the goal but if your budget is tight take 15-20 mins to properly soak and wash off your fruits and veggies in some baking soda and water to help remove chemicals and pesticides.

10 min Salad

Ingredients:

Spinach
Arugula
Cucumber
Tomato
Roasted Sweet potato
Avocado
Pumpkin seeds
Almonds
Corn

Dressing
fresh squeezed lemon juice 1/2 a lemon
Avocado oil 1/2 tsp
Olive Oil 1/2 tsp
Hempseed Oil 1/2 tsp
Balsamic Vinegar 1 tsp
Sea salt (a pinch) or to taste
Fresh ground Black pepper (to taste)
Bannatyne pepper sauce 1/2 tsp or to taste

Mix dressing separately or combine everything in one bowl and toss together. Enjoy!
