🎉We got a Season 2!!! 🎉

Hosting the first season of The Great American Recipe on was such a joy and honor, and I’m so thrilled to do it again! This is such a special show that celebrates and values culture and home cooking. I’m so proud of the way we give individuals from all walks of life the space to share their stories through the language of food and story. We’ve barely scratched the surface, and I can’t wait to meet our next group of talented home cooks. Thank you all for your support of the show—we couldn’t have done it without you!

Feeling such excitement (and nerves!) with the premiere of The Great American Recipe just two (!!!) days away! Hosting this show is a huge dream come true for me after 10+ years in this industry, and I’m so honored and thrilled that it’s with PBS]—a network I’ve watched and loved my whole life. Giving people of all backgrounds a place to tell their own stories is, to me, the truest form of representation, and I’m so proud of the 10 home cooks who joined Leah, Tiffany, Graham, and I on this journey and trusted us with their treasured stories and recipes and family histories. Guess what!? I’m co-hosting a brand new cooking series called TODAY Food All Stars which premieres tomorrow (Tuesday!) at 11AM ET on ! I’ll be sharing fun recipes each week from the kitchen alongside my girl and the incredible . We’re starting off talking all things Thanksgiving and I’m making my Puerto Rican-inspired citrus-marinated turkey made with sour orange juice, TONS of garlic ( 👀 slide 3!), and finished off with a sweet guava glaze.

Boosted! 🙏🏽 Thankful for the privilege and access to this lifesaving vaccine, and for all the brilliant people who made it possible. (My Moderna booster was free, but I got it at the pharmacy inside so it ended up costing me like $350 worth of towels, candles, shower curtains & Christmas decorations. Still a bargain! 😂✌🏽)
