Thank you everyone who joined us last Thursday for our Privilege Champagne tasting.

The evening became less about dissecting the technical details of the wines in front of us and more about coming together to enjoy the moment. We shared three Champagnes from a petit vigneron. Wines that carried a true sense of terroir and story, but once the glasses were poured, the night belonged to the people in the room.

Great Champagne, great food, and a crowd willing to be fully present.

A reminder that wine is sometimes at its best when it simply brings good people together. Grateful for a beautiful evening and for the privilege of being alive sharing these moments with you.

To truly understand a complex wine, you have to go to the source. We recently traveled to the foothills of the Pyrenees in Catalonia, into the rugged, hidden heart of Costers del Segre. 🏔️
The journey to feels like stepping into a fairy tale. Located between 800 and 1,000 meters above sea level, this isn’t just a vineyard—it’s history in liquid form. The estate sits on land once inhabited by 12th-century Hospitaller monks, and today, they still ferment wine in the original stone vats carved into the rock nearly nine centuries ago.
These wines—mostly French and German varietals like Riesling—are not for the faint of heart. They are for those willing to step out of their comfort zone to find something that changes their perception of what wine can be. They are built on subtlety, elegance, and incredible depth.

We spent time walking their fields at the foot of the Pyrenees, just miles from the Mediterranean coast. Between the salty breeze and the rugged mountains, we found a wine that tastes like the culture of the land.

Extension Trip: La Rioja, Zaragoza, Teruel, Cuenca & Madrid

For those who wish to continue the journey—or for travelers joining us just for this leg—we invite you to extend the experience with a second enological, gastronomic, and cultural exploration through some of Spain’s most compelling regions, from La Rioja to Madrid, April 16–23.

This 8-day / 7-night extension builds naturally from Castilla y León, traveling east to La Rioja, Spain’s most iconic wine region, before continuing through the historic cities of Zaragoza, Teruel, and Cuenca, and concluding in Madrid. As with the first leg, the trip is organized and accompanied by a local expert specialized in wine and cultural travel, alongside me, ensuring a thoughtfully curated and authentic experience throughout.

Guests will enjoy winery visits and tastings, regional gastronomy, and guided cultural visits highlighting Roman heritage, Mudéjar architecture, medieval hill towns, and UNESCO World Heritage sites. From the vineyards of La Rioja to the dramatic landscapes of Cuenca and the vibrant energy of Madrid, this leg offers a rich and diverse perspective on Spain’s wine, history, and cuisine.

Price for this trip is EUR 2,100.00. Included in the price:
– Transfers to and from the airport
– Accommodations in 4-star, centrally located hotels
– Lunches with wine
– Entrance fees to historic and cultural sites
