In a recent article published by CNBC, I read that younger travelers are increasingly traveling for sports and experiences. They’re looking for community, connection, and shared moments.

I’m seeing this shift firsthand in NYC. Weeknights are increasingly filled with movement-based events and communities that are forming around sport and wellness are becoming social.

It’s no surprise that this mindset is carrying into travel, creating huge opportunities for destinations and resorts.

Wellness isn’t what it used to be. In NYC, wellness clubs are blending movement, social connection, and restorative spaces to help people reset and feel their best.

In my opinion, travelers want the same on vacation: experiences that nourish body, mind, and community.

Caribbean hotels and destinations that design stays around wellness as a lived experience, from nature and movement to spaces that foster connection, will continuously stand out in a crowded and competitive market.

I’m focused on the intersection of wellness, travel, and community, especially between NYC and the Caribbean.

Why?

NYC is a hub of ambition and burnout
and now more than ever, New Yorkers are seeking restorative experiences - nature, movement, sports, and spaces that genuinely calm the mind and body.

With the Caribbean in NYC’s backyard, the destinations and hotels that win embed wellness across movement, food, design, and community.
