Did anyone else go from loving IKEA assembly to wanting everything already built?
I used to genuinely enjoy putting IKEA furniture together. At first, it felt kind of satisfying, almost like building a giant Lego set. But now, I don't know if I'm getting older or if I've just moved too many times, but I really don't want to spend half a day staring at instructions anymore. Especially with things like TV stands or storage cabinets. Even after you finish building them, you still have to adjust the doors, and if they don't line up properly, it gets so annoying. Sometimes the furniture itself isn't even the problem. I just don't have the patience to go through the whole process anymore. Now I'm seriously considering fully assembled furniture. I'm fine with paying a little more, as long as I don't have to count screws, find tools, and question my life choices on the floor. Has anyone else gone from I like building it myself to please just send it already built? I've been looking at some fully assembled options lately, like povison. Want to ask if anyone has tried them or has other recommendations?
