Brooklyn Kura New York's first sake brewery! New York's first sake brewery. Brooklyn-based, our flagship products will launch under the brand Brooklyn Kura.

Our journey began with a chance meeting in Tokyo, countless batches of homebrew, and a quest to create an American Craft option in a complex and often misunderstood category. Brooklyn Kura also operates under the brand Gotham Sake.

Every week, one of our knowledgeable team members leads a behind-the-scenes tour of our brewery, taking you through the sake-making process, from rice to fermentation to the finished bottle. Along the way, you’ll learn about the ingredients, techniques, and traditions that shape every brew.

The experience concludes with a guided tasting in our taproom, where you can explore our lineup and put your new knowledge to good use.
