It’s GIVEAWAY time!! For anyone unaware, we spent our summer doing our first ever West Coast sales trip. Along the way, we pitched Mama Lam’s to over 100+ stores in the Bay Area & PNW, securing about 40 new accounts in the process. While this was a work trip, we did enjoy being on the road, seeing a lot of the country, forming connections with new retailers, and especially getting to visit some shops that have been Mama Lam’s supporters for a while, and being able to meet and forge stronger bonds with those founders. Shout out to in Bend, Oregon and .pantry in Seattle, Washington. These founders truly care about the brands they bring into their shop and are always trying to support small businesses. Their shops not only promote AAPI brands but also focus on building something for their community.
Both markets are incredibly well curated and introduced us to several amazing products that we hadn’t seen before on the east coast. So we decided to do our part to share a couple with you guys as well, via this giveaway. With too many great small brands to choose from, we tasked each of these shops with picking a local family-owned brand to highlight. Tomi Mart chose Choi’s Kimchi () out of Portland, OR. Mixed Pantry selected Gochiso () to represent Seattle, WA.
