Next up on our heavenly recipe series: Chocolate Hazelnut Brownie with Nunbelievable Cookie Topping & Caramel-Chocolate Drizzle
Ingredients:
For the Brownie:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (like Nutella)
For the Topping:
- 4-6 Nunbelievable cookies (any flavor), crushed
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup milk or dark chocolate chips, melted
Instructions:
1. **Preheat Oven & Prep Pan: Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
3. Mix melted butter and sugar in a separate bowl. Beat in eggs one at a time, add vanilla extract, and stir in chocolate hazelnut spread.
4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
5. Pour into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
6. Sprinkle crushed Nunbelievable cookies and hazelnuts over the batter.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes. A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
8. While brownies bake, melt chocolate chips and keep caramel sauce ready.
9. Cool brownies in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, drizzle caramel sauce and melted chocolate over the top.
