Slow Cooker Bread

Ingredients:

* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 tablespoon baking powder
* ½ teaspoon salt
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 1 cup milk or buttermilk
* 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions:

1. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
2. Add the milk and melted butter, then stir until a soft dough forms.
3. Line the slow cooker with parchment paper.
4. Place the dough in the slow cooker.
5. Cook on High for 2–3 hours, or until the bread is cooked through and golden on top.
6. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Slow Cooker Ham, Green Beans and Potatoes

Ingredients

* 2 lbs (900 g) ham, cut into chunks
* 1 lb (450 g) fresh green beans, trimmed and cut
* 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
* 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
* 2 tbsp butter
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* ½ tsp black pepper
* Salt, to taste

Instructions

1. Place the green beans and potatoes in the slow cooker.
2. Add the ham chunks on top.
3. Season with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
4. Pour in the broth and add the butter.
5. Cover and cook on Low for 6–8 hours or High for 3–4 hours.
6. Serve hot and enjoy.

This looks like a Slow Cooker Gooey Butter Cake (a soft cake with a creamy, custard-like center).

Southern Garlic Shrimp & Salmon over Rice

Ingredients

1 salmon fillet

12–15 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups cooked white rice

3 tbsp butter

3 tbsp olive oil

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried parsley

½ tsp cayenne (optional)

Salt and black pepper… plus

Ingredients

* 1.5 kg potatoes, peeled and diced
* 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
* 1 cup mozzarella cheese
* 1 cup sour cream
* 1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom soup)
* 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
* 3 green onions, chopped
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Grease the slow cooker.
2. In a large bowl, mix the potatoes, sour cream, soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese and half of the bacon.
4. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.
5. Cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar, mozzarella, and bacon on top.
7. Cover and cook for another 15–20 minutes until the cheese melts.
8. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
