This year, NY is honoring Greece and celebrates indigenous Greek varieties in monovarietal vinifications, with more than 30 represented, all made by the heroic growers that constitute the Eklektikon portfolio.

Grammeni Petra, an ode to some of the oldest ancient traces of history in Europe, and the forgotten Rozaki variety.
The variety’s understated profile kept it in obscurity, until organic grower gave it a wonderfully unique style with 12 days on the skins, while maintaining freshness and approachability.
This Rozaki calls home the village of Folia, literally a mountainous “nest” with a unique microclimate of constant sea and mountain breeze, where local civilizations left prehistoric traces behind.
The little person with raised weapons on the label was carved on stone by a Paleolithic local in the area of “Grammeni Petra” (transl: “Carved Stone”), a steep mountainous gorge by the village of Folia. These are some of the oldest traces of an extinct civilization ever found in Europe, left behind to excite our curiosity and to keep learning.

From the village Folia in Northern Greece, brings the grape variety 'Rozaki' to life in a whole new way!
Once known only as a table grape, it now shines as an expressive orange wine - Grammeni Petra - (Written Stone)!
Inspired by ancient rock carvings close to the vineyards where the grapes are coming.

This wine is all about history, character, and a touch of the unexpected!
