Behind every chocolate we craft are the communities who cultivate cacao with care, knowledge, and dedication. Building strong partnerships with producers is essential to ensuring quality, transparency, and a future for fine flavor cacao.

During our recent visit to Manabí, we spent time with our long-standing partners at Fortaleza del Valle, a cooperative representing hundreds of cacao-producing families. Moments like these allow us to continue strengthening relationships, sharing knowledge, and working together toward better cacao quality.

For us, chocolate is not only about flavor—it is about connection. By working closely with the producers and communities at origin, we continue building a value chain rooted in collaboration, respect, and a shared commitment to exceptional cacao.

Cacao, Ciencia y Experiencia

En Conexión Chocolate creemos que el futuro del cacao ecuatoriano depende de la calidad y de una economía más fuerte para el productor.

Por eso impulsamos el proyecto “Cacao, Ciencia y Experiencia”, desarrollado junto al Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG) y INIAP, con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad del cacao ecuatoriano y fortalecer la cadena de valor.

A través de esta iniciativa estamos realizando capacitaciones técnicas en Pichincha, Manabí y la Amazonía, donde expertos, instituciones y productores comparten conocimiento para mejorar prácticas, calidad y oportunidades para el sector.

Porque cuando mejora la calidad del cacao, también mejora la economía de quienes lo producen.
