pork belly bao đŽâđ¨ - Gua Bao ĺ˛ĺ
These actually mad easy to make First to steam some baos : Combine these dry ingredients - 500g ap flour - 10g baking powder - 3 g salt - 5 grams instant yeast - 30 grams sugar with these wet ingredients - 20g veggie oil - ~200g warm water - ~75g warm milk Knead the dough til smooth and add more water if necessary (my dough was kinda dry) - Let it rise for 2 hours - roll out and cut into desired size - brush some oil on top and fold - Roll each one flat on some parchment paper - Let them rise again for 15 minutes STEAM for ~10 minutes depending on size - dont get impatient and uncover them halfway now u got some nice baos Pork belly - I just did a red braise pork belly - sear off pork belly, - braise for 1 hour with chinese cooking wine, dark soy sauce, water, soy sauce - add in aromatics - i used ginger, garlic, bay leaves, rock sugar, star anise, dried peppers - strain out liquid - chop up pork belly - combine in pan and reduce the sauce till nice n sticky Put it all together with toasted crushed peanuts, cilantro, and peppers enjoy :) Kenny
