📍 DOVER
We kicked things off exploring Delaware’s capital with a guided walk through First State Heritage Park, diving into the history of the First State.

🏎️ Then we switched gears, literally, with a behind-the-scenes look at Dover Motor Speedway, home of the famous Monster Mile.

🚜 We also stopped at the Delaware Agricultural Museum & Village, where Delaware’s farming history comes to life through exhibits, historic buildings and an entire recreated 19th-century village.

📍 ODESSA
Next, we stepped WAY back in time for a traditional hearth-cooking demonstration using centuries-old techniques before heading to historic Cantwell’s Tavern for dinner. History + food? You know we’re there.

📍 MILTON
Our final stretch took us to charming Milton, where we checked out the historic Milton Theatre, explored the town, finished with a behind-the-scenes experience at the legendary Dogfish Head Brewery. 🍻

📍We stayed at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort and experience cool spots like Sugar Factory

History. NASCAR. Small towns. Local food. Craft b**r. Delaware seriously surprised us.

HAPPY 2 YEARS TO THE HUNGIE COUPLE!

First off, we want to thank you all for being here. Without your support, this page would not be what it is. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We started this journey two years ago barely knowing how to make a reel (seriously go back and look at some of our older stuff), and not knowing anything about content creation.

Somewhere along the way, we found our groove, and have helped many small businesses (large ones too), explored and shared many super cool places with the hopes to inspire others to do the same, and met so many awesome people and made many incredible relationships. We are soooo thankful and appreciative of everything The Hungie Couple has become and we cannot wait to continue this journey and bring you all along on the ride. We are just getting started! [A D]🍂 THIS IS THE BEST Fall Date Day itinerary for South Central PA: PA Preferred Edition 🍎🎃

We take fall pretty seriously around here, so as soon as the orchards and farm markets announced their fall activities, you KNOW we were all over it! We turned it into a full fall date day in Cumberland and York Counties, and finished off with dinner and drinks at our favorite Mechanicsburg, PA brewery 🍻

We love supporting local, so every stop was PA Preferred , meaning 75% or more of their products are made right here in Pennsylvania! Here’s what we got and experienced at each stop:

📍 STOP 5: Millersburg Ferry ⛴️ Millersburg Ferry Boats
North St at the Susquehanna River, Millersburg, PA
Forget driving home the boring way! Drive your CAR onto this historic all-wooden, double-sternwheel ferry and cruise across the Susquehanna River into Perry County. Such a cool way to end the day! NOTE: ferry has closed for the season and will reopen next summer!

We FINALLY stopped at this roadside spot in Pennsylvania… and now we’re mad we waited so long. 🍔🥤👇🏼

If you love hidden gem restaurants, old-school diners, and a little nostalgia with your meal, put Cruiser’s Cafe in Mount Pleasant Mills, PA on your list!

This 1950s-inspired café is packed with retro charm and has one seriously cool backstory it was once a gas station. ⛽️ Now, instead of filling up your tank, you’re filling up on burgers, shakes, and classic comfort food. 😂

And the hospitality? 💯 From the second we walked through the door, we were treated like old friends.

🍔 We kept it classic with a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Fresh toppings, perfectly cooked burger… exactly what you want from an old-school roadside joint.

🔥 But the surprise of the meal? THE NACHOS. They might not look fancy, but that homemade hamburger barbecue piled on top was ridiculously good. We were not prepared for how much we loved these!

🥤 And come on… Coke just hits different out of a glass bottle.

🍫 We finished it all off with a thick chocolate milkshake made with hand-scooped Hershey’s ice cream. Because when you’re eating at a retro 1950s café, a milkshake is basically mandatory.

Cruiser’s Cafe is one of those Pennsylvania hidden gems we’ve driven past WAY too many times. Don’t make our mistake, STOP. 👏🏼 THE. 👏🏼 CAR. 👏🏼

🍤 The locals say this is the BEST Hibachi around..

We had NO idea what we were walking into when our travels took us to Oishi Hibachi in Duncannon, Pennsylvania… and THIS food was absolutely OFF THE CHAIN 🤯

Seriously… how is this much flavor hiding in Perry County?! If you’re looking for hibachi near Harrisburg or great food trucks in Central PA, put this one at the top of your list. Here’s what we ordered:

🍁 One of Pennsylvania’s most incredible fall views is only available for a LIMITED TIME! 👇🏼

If the Kinzua Skywalk isn’t already on your Pennsylvania fall bucket list, add it NOW.

Located at Kinzua Bridge State Park in Mount Jewett, PA, this jaw-dropping skywalk stretches out over the Kinzua Creek Valley, giving you incredible views of the Pennsylvania Wilds, especially when the mountains explode with fall color. 😍🍂

But there’s so much more to this place than the view.

The skywalk wasonce one of the tallest railroad structures in the world. After a powerful tornado destroyed a large portion of the bridge in 2003, part of the remaining structure was eventually transformed into the observation deck you can walk across today.

⚠️ IMPORTANT FOR FALL 2026: The Kinzua Sky Walk is open through October 31, 2026, before closing again as restoration work continues. It’s expected to reopen in time for fall foliage season in 2027.

And one of the best parts? It’s FREE to visit! 🙌

🍁 Fall weekends can get BUSY, so arrive early or plan a weekday visit if you can.

🌮 TACOS, BACON-WRAPPED HOT DOGS & DIRTY SODAS?!

Yeah… Taco Reho understood the assignment. 🔥

If you’re looking for a seriously fun food stop in Delaware, Taco Reho is serving up tacos that are anything but basic and we came HUNGRY.

🌮 Paradise Taco — chopped cheeseburger, melted American cheese, secret sauce, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, dill pickles + sesame seeds on a flour tortilla. Basically a cheeseburger and taco had a beautiful baby. 😂

🐟 Baja Fish — b**r-battered cod loaded with green cabbage, crema, avocado, chipotle mayo, pico, pickled red onions + cilantro. Crispy, creamy, tangy… YES.

🥩 Beef Shorty — ancho-braised beef on a corn tortilla with tomatillo-arbol salsa, crema, pickled red onions + cilantro. That beef was ridiculously tender.

🌭 Danger Dog — and there’s a reason this bad boy was named BEST OF DELAWARE! Bacon-wrapped and piled with Monterey Jack, avocado, yellow mustard, chipotle mayo, pico + pickled red onions. This thing is WILD.

🥤 And you KNOW we had to try the Dirty Sodas — PB & J and Cherry Cola.
