This easy beef bake combines seasoned ground beef, gooey melted cheese, and crispy tortillas for a satisfying meal that the whole family will love. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion, these chimichangas are sure to become a new favorite in your household.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 6 large flour tortillas
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
3. Stir in refried beans and cheese until well combined.
4. Place a spoonful of beef mixture onto a tortilla and roll up into a chimichanga. Place seam side down on a baking sheet.
5. Bake for 20 minutes or until tortillas are crispy and golden brown.
