🍑✨ Classic Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Donuts ✨🍑
Indulge in a delightful twist on classic flavors with these soft and fluffy donuts, bursting with peachy goodness and rich cheesecake flavor.
Ingredients:
For the Donuts:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh peaches, diced
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the Topping:
- 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup peach preserves
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
3. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
5. Fold in the diced peaches until evenly distributed.
6. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
8. Allow donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
9. For the cheesecake filling, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth.
10. Once the donuts are cool, use a piping bag to fill each donut with the cheesecake mixture.
11. In a small bowl, mix crushed vanilla wafers with melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture on top of the filled donuts.
12. Drizzle warm peach preserves over the donuts for a finishing touch.
