Drove down to The Lot to stay with Rich and Maia Hall. I’ve been a fan of theirs for a year or two. And they have a small B&B. They are as awesome in person as they are on their channel. Had a dinner cooked at a local restaurant across the river in Fongrave. Mark cook a whole meal just for me. It was delicious. Rich took over on his boat and picked me up after which was so nice. Tomorrow I get to experience the night market at Fongrave. I’m so excited.

Brazilian Jazz at a sparking winery near Saumur. Great evening.
Funny how you can have a music event and still be able to talk. Who knew that was possible 🙄 I never understood how in the States it always has to be so loud you feel it. Awesome Erving with tasty sparkling wine. The winery does these all summer.

Well we made it! It was a lot of steps but they all fell into place. A long travel day involving a plane and a long drive. But we have finally settled in to our new temporary but still long term home. And then a day of sleeping.

The start of a brand new adventure in a whole new world that will be full of learning and frustration, but will have its rewards.

I will miss my friends but there will be some incredible adventures here!
