The Insiders’ Wine You Need to Know
From the hidden region of Artsakh, which Wine Enthusiast heralded as “some of the best Armenian winemaking terroir,” Aran’s 2020 Sireni is a one-of-a-kind red redolent of powerful Petite Sirah.

Harvested mere days before the 44-Day War erupted in Armenia on September 27, 2020, this release is the final tribute to the Sarafian family’s flagship vineyard and Artsakh’s signature grape variety, Sireni. Sadly amidst the 2020 harvest, the Artsakh region lost over 70% of its vineyards–including all of the Sarafian family holdings.

For years, this dark, powerful grape variety propelled Armenian wines toward center stage—thanks in no small part to the Sarafian family, who passionately championed Sireni for its power, dark color. We’ve long been fans of their steadfast, quality-first approach, and today we have some of the final bottles in the world—tributes to the character, strength, and terroir of Artsakh.

Bursting with dark, concentrated fruit flavors and bold tannins, this wine has remarkable intensity across the palate and will continue to age beautifully… though it’s absolutely perfect with smokey, char-grilled fare right now. For three days, I’m offering this wine at a 10% discount, because it deserves to be cherished for its incredible structure and the passion poured into each bottle.

From the birthplace of Sireni, Aran’s 2020 is a testament to Armenian terroir that will never be forgotten—but once these bottles are gone, they’re gone forever. We recommend getting yours before this wine slips away into history.
