Simple Brewing Company Simple Brewing Company is a workers cooperative social enterprise brewery in NYC fixated on wonderful beers and giving back to our community.

Taproom: 424 w 54th St. NYC, Thurs-Fri 4-10p, Sat-Sun 2-8p, sometimes closed for events We believe that time is an ingredient (perhaps the most important ingredient), therefore each beer gets its proper conditioning time for the best sensory experience. Come by Café 424 for a perfect draft pour.

This week’s hours! For events, we have a NYC Event Organizers Meetup on Tuesday; the Mets of course; and then the Thursday Writing Group followed by Open Mic in the Living Room.

We are closed Friday through Sunday for a much needed vacation. It’s perfect timing because we would have been closed anyway on Saturday for a private event.

We brewed a wheat beer yesterday - the collaboration with BOYFRIEND co-op, a worker cooperative bar (yay solidarity economy!), but we got a little messy with the clean up. Don’t worry, that hop scum is not in your beer.

Also it’s football preseason! Seahawks play their first game tonight. We are excited for the reigning champs and can’t wait to watch them with you this year! Go hawks!

Sunday! Join us and The Ebony Craft Society for an R&B-themed game day in the name of community, music and fun! We’ll have a Spades table, an UNO table, and a variety of board games available for play. R&B Music has existed for 7 decades! Think you know R&B? Test your knowledge against others for prizes and bragging rights. Our R&B Trivia will anchor this event throughout the day, so stay sharp! A 50/50 Raffle will be in effect and 50/50 Musical Chairs, allowing a lucky winner to to pick up some pocket change! All of this, with the backdrop of DJ Royal spinning some of your favorite R&B tunes!
